I love the charming displays of this little shop across the bay. Fantastic ways to show off the beautiful fiber arts they support.
Bluebird’s new home is across the street from the old shop with room to sit and knit, take classes, or just explore.
Easy to find and close to the ferry, I enjoyed wandering and exploring all the details of the sweet shop.
A storm rolled in late afternoon and seems to be gone leaving everything shimmery wet.
I satisfied one of my geekiest dreams this evening and got to sit in on a taping of NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me. Ah – to have Carl’s voice on my answering machine.
Tomorrow is BlogHer Day one – and I’m superexcitednervousandafraid. I know I’ll have a great time, I always do.
We decided to make the Chicago BlogHer trip our vacation and take the train out from Seattle. Luckily we gave ourselves plenty of time. When we woke up on the 2nd day we were still in North Dakota and 9 hours behind schedule.
I ended up getting a lot more knitting done before our arrival at 2:22 AM (!) in Chicago. I’m really looking forward to the primping Social Luxe is offering.
